The cup has an organically shaped handle that fits the finger perfectly and gives a good grip on the cup.
The cup felt rather warm on the surface, beyond what was comfortable to hold. Despite this heat loss through the surface of the cup, the coffee remained hot long enough to enjoy it in full.

The cup is branded Pascucci, an italian coffee manufacturer with roots dating back to 1883 where the company started as a trading company and with coffee as a core part of the business from the opening on 15 July 1883. It ramained a trading company for many years until it narrowed it's focus to coffee and espresso in 1975, and has maintained focus on providing great coffee experience since then.
The cup itself is from the Astra line from the manufacturer Radif, Italy. Luigi Radif started the business in 1820, and today the company remains family owned in the 7th generation of the founder.
